by leaves we live…

Last week Barrie was up in Edinburgh with Caseroom Press chums, Alan Mason, Ken Cockburn and Ali Bowden. They were showing their stuff at the annual Scottish Poetry Library Artists’ Book Fair — By Leaves We Live.

It was a wonderful day in good company and the stall was brightened by Jantze‘s work which we were showing for the first time, as well as the launch of Alan Mason’s The Magazine: January (The first episode of an adventure in thirteen parts).

He also gave a talk about The Art of Letterpress with Leonard McDermid from Stichill Marigold Press —  an informal session on the art and love of printing, the room was full to bursting. It went so well it was almost as if they’d planned it.

Apart from that. We can’t help but think Barrie’s been reading Morrissey’s autobiography judging by that pose…
