(very) late breaking news

We’ve only just found out, that Typewriter Art: A Modern Anthology, was shortlisted for the 2014 British Book Design and Production Awards.

‘The Awards are held in association with Oxford Brookes University and The Publishers Association, and are one of the most prestigious and popular literary events of the year. The awards recognise and promote the excellence of the British book design and production industry by celebrating the best books of the year. These include everything from photographic books, art and architecture monographs, to scholarly, academic and reference books’.

Typewriter Art didn’t win. And it seems a bit weird to be disappointed that we came second, a year after the event.

But we are.
